I should rejoice in the fact that today I am up and walking. Started eating again though only very bland food. Now I am not sure if it was the old chicken that Eva left out (am I blaming her?) or just some random stomach virus that got me. I did see G-d yesterday though and he/she (I don't want to offend anyone especially Lynn now that I know she is reading these blogs) gave me a thumbs up.
Fox News is telling people to give to http://www.usafreedomcorps.gov. I went to their website and could not find the list of agencies they said you would. I didn't have the patience to look around too much though I assume they are there. I did however stumble on one thing that really made me laugh-yes laugh-it was a link to their Senior Corps which is like the Peace Corps. Great, at age 55 I can start working for them. I can't believe how close that is too!
A water buffalo wandering into the runway and tribesmen shooting arrows at relief aircraft. What a day. So much aide though is coming through (I know we can look at what is not too) and people have come together so well. There are still some countries (in keeping with my attempt to be apolitical I withhold names for now)who could do more, my focus is on those who are doing so much. I am so impressed with others who volunteer their time for the sake of others. Wishing you guys safety.
Janne Ahonen now has won 3 of the 4 contests of the Four Hills Championships. Wouldn't that be amazing if he won the fourth? Geeze, the Scandinavian countries need something very positive. J
