My friend took me on some amazing single tracks in the Carmel Hills today. He is a much better technical rider than I am but that's okay. When fear strikes...I walk. By the end, I was able to do a few difficult sections but when it became truly technical...walked. Had a wonderful coffee and was joined by another biker who we both knew. Weather was PERFECT! Finally it is cool enough to ride in comfort but warm enough to not feel cool (does that make sense?).
Spoke to my brother on SKYPE. Then I did a few searches to see if I could find some old friends. Then I did a search for "Hitler." Don't ask me why, but I was just curious. Sure enough there are many who go by that name. Lots from Finland and Germany. I figured that this would be the case so I am not all that surprised. I guess if you have to have an anti-hero in which to show the world you are "different" why not have the one that so many gravitate to. So much for being different.
