As The World Turns

I was basically paralyzed yesterday. On my way to work, five minutes from my apartment, I had the first signs of a vertigo attack coming on. Having had this now for about 4 years, I quickly got off the road and tried to sit it out. This one though was bad. I tried to get myself focused so that I could drive home but only made if a few hundred meters. I then had to park, turn the air conditioner to its max, lean back and enjoy the ride of nausea. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes, I was able to drive home and buried myself in bed for the day and into the night.

Today the world rotates a bit and my head hurts but at least I am more stable. What scared me about this attack was that I had a tingling sensation in my arms, hands and feet. Not sure what that was all about.

Glad you made it home ok. I've had similar things happen to me but never knew what caused them. Panic attacks of some sort maybe? I'm not sure if my asthma can cause a panic attack, or if a panic attack can cause my asthma to kick in.

I've also had that tingly feeling all over but it was due to taking Efexor for depression. That was the one and ONLY time I took any medication for depression.

Though the condition is "depressing" it is not due to any medication. I have had this now for about 4 years. The "attacks" happen suddenly though don't get bad for about 2 to 3 minutes. The world flips and spins and then I want to throw-up. Two days later, I still want to throw-up but I can go on with normal living with this in the background. The testing I had suggested that this is caused from a middle ear imbalance. Nothing really can be done either. That's truly the frustrating part.
