It's that time of year and make sure parents out there that you are teaching your kids how to study for exams. If you don't know how, then get a book and learn this yourself. There are also great sites on the web (one is: www.resourceroom.net) that cover this as well. If you feel that your kid's teacher too has prepared an adequate review sheet, let that teacher know so that he/she can rectify this. Make sure too that your son/daughter has quiet and order in their lives the week before finals. Don't plan family outings etc. Go over strategies as well and get your son/daughter to discuss when they will be studying for each course and what tactics they hope to employ.
Earth Talk: I was reading Leonard Peltier's blog today and he had some strong comments that we all need to consider. People like Mr. Peltier understand the freedoms that you and I have (as he has been jailed unfairly for 30 years-my opinion), the freedoms that so many of us take for granted. Check out what he has written at: http://lpdctexas.blogspot.com/2005/11/day-of-mourning-message-from-leonard.html
