I am copying a review of Eva's (wife) CD from a Vermont paper. The CD, as always, can be viewed and listened to at: http://www.leonarda.com/le354.html

Brattleboro Reformer Leonarda label offers little-known musical treasures Thursday, February 09, 2006 - KEENE, N.H. 3 from Leonarda -- What treasures there are to be found on the smaller recording labels such as Leonarda Records that champions lesser-known works, many of which deserve wide audiences. For example, there is "2 Clarinets & Piano: Original Music fromFinland, Malta, Israel and points in between" (LE 354), featuringEva Wasserman-Margolis and Luigi Magistrelli (clarinets) and ClaudiaBracco (piano). The birth dates of the composers represented rangefrom 1775 (Bernhard Crusell) to 1934 (Lotti Amit-Kaley), while the nationalities include German, Italian, Israeli, Finnish, Latvian,Maltese, Czech and Dutch. The formats include divertimenti, rondosand fantasies. Very enjoyable, very unusual.
