Heat

Give 'em the heat. I mean we all react to heat so why not dispense it?

Did a ride in the Jerusalem Hills today and it was up to 37C and though it was blissfully dry, I was ensconced with heat. Made my old joints cry out in thankfulness.

Want news heat? Listen to the BBC. Oh they love Americans. Here's there response to the number of people who died in Hidatha when the number of people killed there was discussed and they reported on what the Pentagon suggested was the actual number: "...that's according to the Pentagon. Who knows what the real numbers are." By the way, that did not come from somebody they were interviewing or a call in, it was from the main broadcaster. That's fair and balanced.

On an interview in Germany a player pundit from the Iranian team began to pontificate on why the Jewish Holocaust never occurred. I thought he was a soccer player? Suddenly he's an erudite scholar. Where's he get all the time? Heats gone to his head perhaps.

Finally, I felt heat in my heart, the heat of sadness, talking to my good friend in the states. I won't go into it here as it's too specific and too personal but as always, my thoughts and prayers are with her.
