Summer Break and thoughts of the Sudan

Not sure how those two go together but it will make sense in a moment. I am back in Conn on Tues though I will fly off to L.A. until the 27th on Thurs of next week. A course in masking and back to CT and a course in Dreamweaver from the July 2-7. Back to Israel on the 14th for almost two weeks on my own. How lonely.

With al the many problems in this world, those in the Sudan are some of the worst. Oxfam, that amazing and giving organization is trying to do so much there. Here is a letter and some links that you might find helpful:

Yesterday, the Senate joined the House in finally passing the
supplemental budget bill, which the President is expected to
sign into law within the next week. The bill will provide much
needed funding for the African Union peacekeepers in Sudan. This
funding will help protect thousands of civilians in harm's way.
Thousands of you took action and told your representatives to
push this important bill forward, and your support helped pass
the bill!
