With Fox (a parent of a student of mine who works for Fox is doing the filming) in the background and Tony Snow speaking at a press conference, I attempt to figure out what to write. We are pounding Lebanon and they, Hizbollah, are fighting back. Bombs falling in Haifa and Nazerath today and helicopters over Herzylia in search of a terrorist who thankfully was captured.
Where do conflicts like this go? This is a land that has absorbed the blood of so, so many over the thousands of years that man has walked this land. As much as man has evolved, we have not learned enough and let the ativistic elements of our systems run rampant. Our technology is allowing us to fight the battles integrating sophisticated computer chips into this warfare. Yet it is the people on the ground, the people are ground zero, who truly suffer.
